Meet The Team

Arielle "Ari" Peters, BS, MFT Intern
Pronouns: She/Her
My name is Arielle, or Ari, and I’m pursuing my master’s degree in Marriage and FamilyTherapy at Colorado University. I enjoy working with clients and families from variousmulticultural backgrounds (I am a very curious yet respectful person), but I especially enjoy
working with teenagers and emerging adults.
I am available via telehealth or in-person. I am an empathic listener who will invite you to tell the story of your life and relationships, and then help you rewrite the parts of your story that need healing. I am passionate about helping clients restore damaged relationships and supporting individuals who have experienced trauma in becoming victors over their past experiences. I have several years of experience working with children and teens in the LGBTQIA+ community. I have also worked with children and teens with trauma, psychiatric disorders, neurodiversity, adoption struggles, and boundary issues, and helped to support their
families with struggles attached to those issues. I can also work with clients experiencing religion-based trauma (“church hurt”) and infertility struggles.
I love spending time outdoors with my family and pets: gardening, hiking, camping, fishing, and
swimming. I enjoy sports but love martial arts. I also enjoy reading, writing, and occasionally dabbling in drawing, painting, and music. I especially love The Lord of the Rings and other fantasy stories. I will happily incorporate the arts into your therapy if you desire, and I would be honored to be a part of your journey in your pursuit of an abundant life.

intern
pronouns: She/Her
I work with teenagers and adults across life stages, any orientation or identity. I do have a special interest in, but not limited to, supporting transgender, nonbinary, and LGBTQIA+ individuals navigating identity development, life transitions, anxiety, and depression. My areas of interest also include perinatal mental health and the emotional impact of role and relationship changes.
Therapy with me is a collaborative, affirming space where your identity is respected and your experiences are taken seriously. I offer practical tools such as mindfulness practices, mood and sleep routines, communication strategies, and creative or expressive approaches to help you feel more grounded, clearer about what matters, and steadier in your relationships.
My counseling style is warm, culturally humble, trauma-informed, and explicitly LGBTQIA+ affirming. I draw from Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Creative Arts Therapy, tailoring our work to your goals—whether you’re seeking focused support or deeper exploration. My appointment book is open, and I welcome you to reach out when you’re ready.
